Bad as it is; it could have been worse

What a catastrophic set of cuts! Wow. I think the Mayor did pretty well given what he faced. I'm particularly pleased he is not closing swimming pools (except RB) and kept most community centers open. The new parks fees are 'fair'. The cuts to maintenance shops and parks maintenance will bite a year are 2. No one's going to go out and say 'save my plumber/electrician or grounds maintenance worker, but we need to watch and hopefully restore some of these cuts or we won't have any...parks...left.

I think we can live with the little City Hall cuts; neighborhood matching restoration would be my high priority. Good he kept most public safety and human services. I'm not a fan of the guy, but he did 'good' given what he was working with.
