Eliminate free parking

I've noticed many cars parked all day in our park's parking lots. I suspect many are neighbors and employees of local businesses. Put in parking meters to increase revenue and discourage long term free parking for non-park users.

There are other ways to discourage long term free parking for non-park users,(people can register, or lots can be checked) and the modest revenue from parking fees won't solve anything. Parks are inexpensive recreation during hard times. Our money paid for them for everyone to enjoy. Parking fees can force poorer folks out of parks.
