STOP painting the green street intersections - for bicycles. Please don't remind me that we voted for this in 2006..... remember how we voted NOT to build a stadium or two? Well things change - we know that, so why don't we try to "tax" those bicyclists - say with a "license tax" . . . If each one of them had to pay a small licensing tax, how could that hurt any of them really?
Lay off the consideration to up-charge even MORE for our currently over-priced parking. Retail business is having a tough enough go of it....shall we not try to drive the retail shoppers to the Eastside. Once they put that toll on 520 - Seattle will have issues enough..... are we trying to go back to "Will the last one leaving Seattle, please......" Mayor - we all DON'T have bicycles....
Parks always seem to get the backend of the "General Fund"..... what is with that prehistoric issue? Green paint for bicycle lanes? Wow talk about bad use of public funds. In good times that might work, but not right now. Also - since we lose so much money on-going to the light rail, etc., don't add insult to injury with this bicycle mess.
