Enforcing/Implementing bigger fines for littering/public property destruction.

I suggest instead of increasing parking rates and other measures that would hurt businesses, to implement, or increase fines for things such as littering, destroying public property, and other "elective" harmful acts that cost the city money to clean up/fix. It is a double benefit - cleaner city + extra revenue. Might even be worth considering fines for property owners who let their own property sit buried in garbage ...more »

Public Utilities: Bi-weekly option for garbage collection

Offer a bi-weekly (every other week) option for trash collection at a reduced rate, and increase normal rate for weekly collection. This will provide incentive for citizens to recycle more, and be conscious about their consumption of disposable packaging and products, as well as save time and other resources for the collectors and their equipment.
