I disagreeI suggest you review the necessity of all the positions of Seattle city employees who make over $100,000 a year. The economy is bad, we could renegotiate with our current employees for lower wages or hire new employees for a fraction of the cost.

I disagreeI suggest you eliminate the budget for sharrows. Drivers don’t need painted pictures of bicycles to know they need to share the road with bicycles. We could spend this money on needed services and public safety.

I disagreeI suggest that you eliminate the entire budget for the SDOT’s Bicycle Program. It does nothing but deliberately increase traffic congestion and take money away from needed social programs in order to support a tiny minority of people who ride bicycles.

I disagreeI suggest that you eliminate the budget for the new green bicycle boxes. These boxes cost $15,000 and do nothing to improve freight mobility. We need to focus on important priorities, not pet projects for a privileged few.
