Budgets and Homeless People

I suggest you.take a closer look at the City's priorities. Helping to house the homeless is far less costly than policing them in the streets or housing them in our jails. How much money can you save by stopping the horse patrol, and reducing the number of police vehicles? How much money could you safe by consolidating offices in City owned properties instead of paying rent in expensive commercial buildings? There are many more savings to be achieved if you took a new, more enlightened look at what the real needs vs, the wants are. We all would like a cadillac, but sometimes a bicycle is helpful to get around.
