I suggest you set market-rate parking rates for parking on public land. This includes parking meters, city parking lots, and street parking. Make car users start paying for themselves

I suggest you only pay for car infrastructure projects using fees on car users. The 40% of Seattle residents who do not drive on a daily basis are subsidizing car users through property taxes and the general fund, which pay for over 96% of Seattle's transportation infrastructure. Implement tolls on bridges

I suggest you implement tolls on all major Seattle bridges (Fremont Bridge, Ballard Bridge, University Bridge, Montlake Bridge, South Park Bridge, etc.). Add an HOV/transit lane that is exempt from tolling.

 

This is one small step for car users to start paying for themselves, instead of sucking over $100 milion per year of subsidies out of property tax and the general fund.
