Cut Consultants such as Cathy Allen's firm

Cut out the high paid consultants who do the work for the City that employees are hired to do. It is a culture that dates back to kickbacks. What is Cathy Allen doing that an employee can not do? And if you did an audit of her invoices and publicized them the taxpayers would be angry. What about Mr. Hawaii who was paid thousands to do what you hired new directors to do in SPU? Homelessness is pervasive in suburban areas of Seattle as well as downtown. Some churches step up and host Tent Cities (which provide secure communities for some of those with no place to live and keep the problem before the public eye). Quit remarking bicycle lanes and slowing traffic

I have written the mayor and city complaining about the reductions in traffic lanes from the Magnolia district to the I-5 Freeway entrances. I objected to the reduction On Mercer Street access from 3 lanes in each direction to accomodate the Paul Allen wishes at the South end of Lake Union and the reduction on Nickerson Street from two lanes in each direction to one lane in each direction and bicycle paths. MOHAI

Please leave the negotiated MOHAI compensation intact. There was an agreement made last fall about the museum doing its own negotiating with the state and was successful at getting more than expected. Now, leave that money where it was intended to be used, the relocation of the Museum of History and Industry.

start thinking about licensing bicycles, all bike riders should have to have a course on traffic laws in order to get a license or an endorsdment fo teir driers license-- all bike riders should have to have a bike license on their bike , say 20 dollars a year for those over 18 and 5 dollars a year for those from 13 to 18 and under 13, no fee but have to register and get a license plate
